DRAGON AND JETTENBACH
Peter (Dragon) and Paul (Jettenbach) return for a full length album after the successful Roche Limit ep released through Inner Demons earlier in 2020.
Alongside being a popular resident DJ at Slimelight London, Peter's resume includes releases on World Serpent (as Grid-Lock, 1993); as half of the experimental electronic duo Edgewood (Project 112); Light and Shadow, an audio visual project with Cayce, and provided a killer remix of Asche's Zapped featured on the 2002 Distorted DJ album (ant-zen).
Peter debuted his Dragon moniker on the Meek Tapes: Constraints album in 2020.
Paul, meanwhile was carving out a quiet corner of bandcamp releasing lo-fi electronica over the past few years, with a remix of Plymouth based Avant pop artist Blessed Pangolin and a split ep with Leipzig IDM artist TommyTheCat, before submitting tracks to a number of compilations including: Syrphe's Civil Disobedience; Section 27's V8.0; and a number of LessThanOne/ 1 projects including: E'ch Pi El, Encoiled and the Diary of Mars.
The pair have been friends since meeting at Slimelight 20 years ago and shared a mutual love of obscure Electronica/ Industrial, Post-Rock and Science Fiction novels. Following the tragic death of Slimelight owner and co-founder Mayuan Mak in 2020, they were involved in the curation of Mak's tribute compilation "The Plan" alongside DJ Blackdeath 1334 aka Francesca Mendola and Winter-Light's Mark O'Shea. It was during this time the pair began writing music together which resulted in the 3 track ep The Roche Limit released on Dan Fox (Loss/Fail)'s noise/ drone Label: Inner Demons Records.
Not content to stop there, Dragon & Jettenbach have crafted 9 tracks of experimental electronica which continue to combine the pairs wide and varied influences, with one track from these sessions already being featured on the lessthanone Roadside Picnic 50th anniversary compilation "??????" and another closing the People Can Listen - Twelfth Listen compilation.
