EARTHFLESH - WALKING WITH THE TIDE
Bruno Silvestre Favez, the man behind it all, released to the World the monolithic “EMBRACE”, a 60 minutes-long cathartic noise piece, taking inspiration from a poem of the classic Portuguese literature Nobel prize winner José Saramago. This time, however, sound came at very first and only later eventually ended up resonating with the words of another pillar of the Arts.
As a companion to the 39 minutes of “WALKING WITH THE TIDE” - the 38th release of the project to see the light since its birth in 2019 - EARTHFLESH endorses the words of the late Khalil Gibran (1883-1931) ; the Lebanese-born writer and free thinker, far better known for his worldwide saluted masterpiece “The Prophet”. The opening verses of the classic “Sand and Foam” - as initially published in 1926 - couldn’t be a better fit to illustrate and support the deep hypnotic drones of this new crawling beast of a record. Maximum volume, however, still yields maximum results.
"WALKING WITH THE TIDE", as performed by EARTHFLESH, was released on October 29th, 2021 through Short Run Industries and Gates of Hypnos on a limited CD homemade edition of 15 copies.
