BERZERKER was founded in late 2016 by Andreas Erker(a.k.a. Bughuul) as a solo project performing old school Black-Metal. After gathering first ideas and developing some song structures Mathias Sieghart(a.k.a. Imbrifer) got interested in the project and joined performing vocals and writing lyrics. Collaborations with other musicians followed.
After more than four years of constant developing BERZERKERs first album ‘Pereat Mundus’ was eventually released on 26th December 2021. The style of the debut is heavily influenced by the early and mid 90ies Norwegian scene with some elements of Thrash and Death.
