CemeteriuM started as a solo project of YknumkRad in the summer of 2004, then with the addition of Morrigu and Malbec became something more. Morrigu would take the challenge of learning to play the keyboard as would Malbec to play bass. The absense of musicians has constantly been a problem which CemeteriuM faced right from the start. In order to play live, YknumkRad would play guitar and vocals and have programmed drums on playback in concert. After a few small shows the band caught a break when Black Cat decided to join the ranks playing guitar. YknumkRad moved to drums and CemeteriuM was complete for the first time. Soon after Malbec left the band to go to San Diego and it was back to three members. However, undeterred they marched forward making new material and playing throughout the first half of 2005. In June 2005 YknumkRad decided to go to Canada for the summer to work, then to tour Asia and CemeteriuM was put on hold until his return in November. This slowed progress temporarily but soon they were back on track releasing new material and playing live with the same lineup. More problems were to come in 2006 when Black Cat decided to leave the band. CemeteriuM was left with two members, but was determined to continue progressing. In February 2006 the first demo was released featuring five original tracks self recorded by the band. The demo is available upon request from the band members.
CemeteriuM empezo como un proyecto solista de YknumkRad en el verano del 2004, luego con el adicion de Morrigu y Malbec se hizo algo mas. Morrigu tomo el reto de aprender a tocar el teclado y Malbec el bajo. Falta de musicos ha sido problema constantamente para CemeteriuM desde el empiezo. Para poder tocar en vivo, YknumkRad tocara la guitarra con vocal, con bateria programada en playback. Despues de unos eventos pequenos la banda se completo cuando Black Cat decidio tomar la posicion de guitarrista. YknumkRad se puso en la bateria y CemeteriuM fue completo por la primera vez. Poco despues Malbec dejo la banda para ir a San Diego y regreso a tener tres miembros. De todos modos siguieron sacando material y tocando por la primera parte del 2005. En junio del 2005 YknumkRad decidio ir a Canada a trabajar por el verano y despues ir a asia a viajar y CemeteriuM se puso en pausa hasta su regreso en noviembre. Esto disminuyo progreso temporalmente pero poco despues ya estaban sacando nuevo material y tocando en vivo otra vez con los mismos integrantes. Mas problemas llegaron cuando en 2006 Black Cat decide dejar la banda. CemeteriuM quedo con dos integrantes pero fue determinado en continuar progresando. En febrero del 2006 el primer demo fue producido con cinco canciones originales grabados por ellos mismos. El demo esta disponible contactando a la banda. |
